The name Voro derives from the Latin term ‘devorare‘ with the new restaurant inviting diners to devour the creations made by the restaurant’s own Michelin Star chef, Alvaro Salazar. Salazar is a young chef with international acclamation, being awarded Chef of the Year in the Balearic Islands by the specialised press, as well as Cook of the Year in Alimentaria in 2018.
According to Salazar, VORO is “a journey, an attitude, a universe that transcends borders and horizons yet never stops looking towards the Mediterranean. VORO is naturalness, provocation and sophistication. Free-spirited cuisine without any ties”.
The restaurant will be located in ‘Plaza de la Torre’ in the resort of Park Hyatt Mallorca, with the restaurant assuring a firm commitment to the environment and its Mediterranean roots. Offering a traditional menu that is both modern and groundbreaking, unique creations are set to delight their diners.
