We have listed Mallorca’s finest ports and marinas you just must see while staying on the island!
Port de Palma
The port of Palma is the most visited and biggest ports of the island. Its marina is home to numerous luxury yachts, sailing boats, traditional fisher boats as well as huge cruise ships that bring people from all over the world to Palma. In and around the port you will find fantastic restaurants, shops and hotels as well as great things to see.
From here you can start a sightseeing tour of Palma. The cathedral of Mallorca, just a few metres away from the port, is one of the biggest cathedrals in Europe. During summer you have the possibility to visit the top of the cathedral and enjoy one of the most amazing views ever! Es Baluard, the museum of modern and contemporary art, is situated directly next to the port of Palma. It always offers very interesting and original exhibitions and events. The museum also has a beautiful restaurant with a terrace where you can enjoy great views of the harbour and the cathedral!
Fabulous restaurants are scattered all along the promenade of Palma’s harbour, one of Mallorca’s finest ports. There are Varadero Restaurant, El Pesquero, Mar de Nudos and many more excellent places to enjoy a great lunch or dinner with sea views. For coffee and drinks head to The Boat House, Cappuccino Grand Café or Anima Beach.

It’s a well known fact that Puerto Portals is one of the most glamourous places on the whole island, thanks to its marina where you will find some of the most expensive yachts in the world! The exclusive harbour with 639 mooring spaces is situated in Calvia, in the southeast of Mallorca, very close to Palma.
The modern marina is always lively and full of nice bars, cafés and restaurants that offer a great cuisine. There are Baiben Restaurant, Lucy Wang, Lila Portals Beach Restaurant & Bar, Cappuccino Grand Café and many more excellent ones. In addition, those who come to the island to relax by the sea will find some fantastic beach clubs around Puerto Portals and Portals Nous such as Roxy Beach Club, Mood Beach and UM the Beachhosue.
Puerto Portals also offers some great shopping opportunities! There are a lot of unique stores and shops where you can spend hours and hours admiring some original products and goods. To name a few, there are Pinko, Relojeria Alemana, Farinelli, D2Fashion, Blue Marin, Love Affair Fashion and many more.

Around Portals Nous and Puerto Portals you find a great selection of luxury hotels to spend the night such as Iberostar Grand Hotel in Portals Nous, Portals Hills Boutique Hotel or OD Port Portals.
Puerto Portals furthermore hosts various special events during the whole year. Residents and visitors love the farmers and sunset market in summer or cosy Christmas market in winter.
Port Adriano is one of the most exclusive ports in the Mediterranean and well known among yacht fans. Designed by Philippe Starck, one of Mallorca’s finest ports is situated on the southwestern coast of Mallorca. If you come to have an unforgettable experience in this beautiful port or if you just want to go for lunch, dinner or a drink. This place is like a small paradise, completely separated from all the noise, but still very lively and joyful because it’s always full of people who create a great atmosphere.

If you are looking forward to spend some hours shopping in Port Adriano you will like Nova Línea, Relojería Alemana, Rendezvous, Rosemarine and other shops you’ll find in the harbour.
There is always time for some fun, right? If you would like to try out some water activities at one of Mallorca’s finest ports, Port Adriano offers some great possibilities! Paddle Surf, diving, kayaking or sailing, Mar Balear offers it all.

There are many fantastic cafés and restaurants in Port Andratx to choose from. Beef tartare, duck foie gras, flamed sea bass and other delicacies are served in the elegant Trespais Restaurant. Just by the ocean, Restaurant Sumailla offers Japanese cuisine and also varieties of other delicious food. Located in a charming alley of Port Andratx The Seed Mallorca serves not only healthy and organic snacks like coco pudding or beetroot salad but also local roasted coffee and homemade drinks.
Port de Sóller
Port de Sóller is one of the most beautiful and visited spots on the island. And there is a good reason why we have included it in our list of Mallorca’s finest ports. This magical place might make you forget where you are! The lovely harbour is home to a large number of anchored boats, while in the large bay in form of a horseshoe you will find a beautiful beach, numerous restaurants, hotels and also shops.
The main attraction of this place is the well-known, traditional train, that will take you from Palma to Sóller and Port de Sóller, and allow you to enjoy the amazing landscapes and views of the island during the ride!
Some great restaurants in this harbour are Sa Barca, Randemar or Es Passeig to name a few. Stop by Es Mirall to end the day with excellent red wine or a classic gin tonic.
While you are visiting Port de Sóller, don’t miss the Sa Creu Lighthouse, that will just remind you of a fairytale place!

Great food is available everywhere in one of Mallorca’s finest ports. But if you are ready to try something new, you should visit the Michelin-awarded Argos Restaurant. Here, every dish chef Álvaro Salazar prepares with seasonal and local products is a special and unique creation. Furthermore, the restaurant Ca’n Cuarassa, situated on the beach of Puerto Pollensa, offers some delicious Mediterranean cuisine. Besides fantastic restaurants there are lots of cafés and bars along the boardwalk and in the harbour of Puerto Pollensa. Don’t miss Cappuccino Grand Café or Sea.Bar.Is.
If you are a dolphin lover you should definitely use the opportunity and take a boat trip around Puerto Pollensa to see a beautiful sunrise and dolphins in their natural habitat! Robinson Boats for example offers fun boat excursions at different hours. Puerto Pollensa is also famous among water sports lovers. They come here to go kitesurfing, windsurfing or stand up paddling in the bay of Pollensa.
At night, stay at one of the exclusive and charming hotels located around the marina. Some great ones are Hotel Illa d’Or, Hoposa Daina Hotel and Sis Pins or Hotel Miramar.
Puerto de Alcúdia
As one of Mallorca’s finest ports, the touristic harbour of Alcúdia offers great activities for every age, many fantastic restaurants and shops. The family-friendly port has experienced an incredible growth during the last 30 to 40 years. It’s now a popular holiday, sailing and yachting destination as well as a commercial transportation port. From here you can take ferries to Menorca, Barcelona and even France.
For authentic, excellent paella and other fresh seafood head to the restaurants Bistromar or Miramar in the harbour. Other restaurants like The Wine Side or New Cacaco offer more modern cuisine including sushi and burgers. A bit farther away from the harbour you will find El Jardín Bistro. Here, the Michelin-awarded chef Macarena de Castro creates exquisite dishes only made with the freshest local products.
The harbour of Alcúdia is also a little shopping paradise. Here you find many popular, well known shops. International stores like Calzedonia, Mango, Intimissimi or Heymo Shoes are next to smaller tourist shops.
For water sports lovers there are many fantastic offers in the marina. You can go jetskiing, rent a stand up paddle board, a boat excursion or go wakeboarding. Furthermore, the long sandy beach of Alcúdia, where you can spend a relaxing day, connects directly to the harbour. Cala d’Or is one of the most beautiful destinations and also one of the most visited parts of the island. Situated on the southeastern coast of Mallorca, the port of Cala d’Or offers some nice activities.
First things first: beach! Cala d’Or is very well known as an area where beautiful beaches and small ‘calas’ are hidden. Some are the beach of the popular beach resort itself, Cala Petita, Cala Esmeralda and many others.
The well-equipped marina of Cala d’Or is popular among sailing lovers and yacht fans. They love the Cala d’Or Yacht Club. The marina was built in a natural opening on the coast in 1969. Almost 600 moorings, along with many high-end amenities, make this marina one of Mallorca‘s larger and more luxurious ones.
Around the marina you will furthermore find several restaurants, bars, shops and supermarkets. Lunch or dine with sea views at Port Petit Restaurant, where you can enjoy a creative cuisine with a Mediterranean touch on a terrace overlooking the harbour.
As the majority of Mallorca’s finest ports, the one of Cala d’Or also offers lots of different water sport activities. These include among others kayaking, diving or sailing. But also the nature that surrounds the area is inviting you to explore it, either by bike or just walking.
Porto Cristo, located in the west of the island, has a small but beautiful port that is worth visiting. Founded in 1969 by Joan Servera Amer, the Porto Cristo Club Náutico has 222 moorings. 59 of them are reserved for transit boats. It offers the owners of the boats electricity and water connections. Furthermore it has bathrooms, showers and a platform for repairs or maintenance of medium-sized boats. So everything a boat or yacht owner can wish for!
The harbour also connects to a lovely beach that offers all amenities. If you are looking for more beaches in this part of the island, there are more stunning ones to choose from. Namely Cala Morlanda, Cala Petita or Playa de S’Illot.
The once bustling Porto Cristo is now a more quiet resort. Along the harbour you will find many shops and great restaurants as well such as Roland Restaurant, Tr3nta, Sa Sal or Quince.
