About Ivan Levy
Ivan’s career is particularly impressive. In 1983, Ivan and his wife, Sheela Levy, established a franchise for The Body Shop in Switzerland. Continuing his role as CEO until 1996, Ivan decided to move to the UK to take up a board position at The Body Shop International plc. In 2010, Ivan sold The Body Shop, Switzerland to COOP but remained as their CEO until 2012.
Now, Ivan is shareholder & Non-Executive Chairman of Son Naava which produces bio-dynamic olive oil from Montuiri, Spain. He also has interests in property development and for this reason is shareholder and Non-Executive Chairman at Coco Sage, a company which creates luxury spaces featuring the finest details in some of the most stunning locations in Mallorca. It doesn’t stop there for the businessman, as Ivan also is the Executive Chairman of CHC Helicopter Operations, which transports thousands of people to and from offshore oil & gas installations in the EMEA regions.
A taste for fine-dining
From his passion and experience in producing olive oil, Ivan has gained a deep interest in fine dining and has been inspired to lend his hand to the industry. Ivan is now the co-owner of Fera, an exclusive restaurant in the heart of Mallorca’s capital. Situated only a stone’s throw away from the emblematic Avenue de Jaume III, Fera is housed in a beautifully restored Grade II listed palace. The restaurant is a true gourmet hideaway, showcasing the city’s extraordinary culinary scene.
A passion for Philanthropy
Levy is also a Philanthropist, founding a host of projects which aim to empower and educate in some very worthy global causes. His charity work has included acting as Vice President of the Board of the Aids-Hilfe Schweiz, an organisation which aims to educate people about sexually transmitted diseases, as well as the UK Chairman of Magic Bus, a not-for-profit organisation which empowers vulnerable children in India to make effective life choices. As head of the foundation, students are able to learn about sports and gain basic abilities to master school and work. Already at 400,000, the program has delivered real success and is a credit to his endeavours.
