A selection of cinemas in the Balearic Islands will make a live broadcast of the exquisite production from the Royal Opera House of ‘La Forza del Destino’. The renown opera features an extraordinary cast and production and will be shown on big screens in Ciutadella, Mahón and Palma de Mallorca.
Taking place on April 2nd, the opera will be broadcasted via satellite from London. The Royal Opera House brings together the acclaimed Russian soprano Anna Netrebko and the German tenor Jonas Kaufmann. The opera was guided by the Musical Director Antonio Pappano and the Stage Director Christof Loy.

The cinemas of Ciutadella de Menorca, Mahón and Palma de Mallorca will host the live broadcast direct from the Royal Opera House in London. This is one of the most anticipated performances of the season worldwide.
Commencing at 19:15, ‘La Forza del Destino’ has a duration of approximately four hours and fifteen minutes. The opera will be sung in Italian with subtitles in Spanish. It will also be broadcasted in 140 theatres across Spain and 50 countries worldwide thanks to its distributor, Versión Digital.
