On a charming “callejón” in the vibrant district of La Lonja lays this Boho Chic apartment in Palma. An old staircase in typical “casco antiguo” style leads us up to this creative oasis.
Warm and feminine this flat feels as though every little item belongs and that it’s been like this forever, not only for two years as we are told. Most of the furniture and interior pieces have been shipped over from Sweden with some additions from travels abroad. “To find interesting interior objects in Mallorca, says the owner. “I love to go to the market in Consell”.
Embrace the organized chaos
Further, your home is an outward manifestation of your inner experience—a reflection of yourself. “When I enter someone’s home, I like to see their soul, interests and their passion in the objects surrounding them.”
One of the fabulous things about Majorca is that the markets on the island are alive and well and blossoming. Several markets sell interior items and second hand furniture’s. When we step straight into a hallway office; piles of photos, hats, jewelleries and papers everywhere, yet, it feels right, organized chaos.
