If you were fortunate enough to be in Ibiza you may have witnessed the iconic annual Adlib Moda Ibiza Fashion Show which took place between May 2nd and 5th this year. Now in its 48th edition, the amazing event saw a catwalk of beautiful Balearic fashion made by local and international designers.
Adlib Moda Ibiza Fashion Show
Ibiza is the source of inspiration for a free and natural lifestyle that translates into the Adlib Moda Ibiza brand. It is a stamp of craftsmanship born as a philosophy of life, when the first hippies took the traditional dress of the island and merged it with fabrics and styles from around the world.
Today Ibizan fashion is making a mark by inspiring the best designers from around the world. Dressing with Adlib Moda Ibiza designs is no longer limited to beaches or summer, but in the creation of collections worthy of the most prestigious red carpets, unique events or dream weddings, presenting exclusive and handmade pieces from the island.
Supported by the Consell d’Eivissa the event will recover the values of its beginnings: to be sustainable and to create garments and accessories for people of all ages and countries with freedom and with good taste.
The 48th edition will present an authentic Fashion Week where designers such as Beatriz San Francisco showcased beautiful pieces that highlighted the purest Adlib style. Guests saw designs that stood out for their mixture of silhouettes without renouncing the essence, freshness, innocence and philosophy of Adlib: ‘dress as you want, but with style’.
A total of 21 brands participated in the runway showing the latest styles for 2020 that exude sensual and romantic lines where exclusivity and work craft will continue to be the main protagonists of this renowned catwalk.
Guests to the event immersed themselves in traditional and avant-garde fashion, but with the commonality of exclusivity that defines the fashion industry in Ibiza. It was definitely a date in the calendar that simply could not be missed!
