Our 5 Tips for getting the perfect Beach Body
The sun is out, the holidays get closer and we are longing for relaxing days at the beach. Especially when you live on the beautiful island of Mallorca. But, during winter we move less and sometimes forget about our diet so losing weight and getting in shape isn’t that easy.
However, there are a few simple things you can do to look fantastic in that swimsuit you like so much. We help you get your dream beach body and achieve a lean physique in the healthiest possible way. Our tips are applicable for both men and women. If all of these tips sound too much, simply choose one thing to make your goals realistic and achievable.
- Reduce or cut out sugar. Energy and metabolism will be more balanced. Mentally you will be more clear and calm.
- Reduce or cut out as many grains as possible such as wheat and rice. Replace these grains with starchy carbohydrates such as carrots and sweet potato. Your digestion will be more comfortable and the bonus is a flatter belly!
- For body definition, energy and a positive mind, be consistent with 30 minutes of fitness interval training two to three times a week. Find a class you like such as body combat or cycling. It’s always fun to work out with others. There are also plenty of online workouts for every taste.
- Drink a lot of water. This is so important, especially when it’s hot outside. We recommend approximately two litres of water a day. Yes that much! Your skin will look brighter and your digestion will improve.
- Sleep! When sleep-deprived the body craves extra calories. So sleep at least 8 hours a night. As a result, you will feel mentally happier too.
